What is the minimum age/level requirements to join our class?
Children classes: Available from age 5. (We need to assess children age 4)
Adult/Junior class: Available from age 13+ for beginners.
What should I bring into the class?
Comfortable clothing, trainers, a towel and a bottle of water.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the class?
There is free parking around the venue.
Haggerston Overground station is the nearest station (2min walk).
Why Wing Chun and not another style of Martial Arts?
Our Wing Chun Self Defence programme is a traditional Chinese Martial Art that specialises in close-range Self Defence. You don’t need to be bigger or stronger than an attacker to defend yourself and feel safe; Wing Chun is about economy of motion, efficiency and practicality.
By coming to our classes, you will learn effective Self Defence, develop street awareness & get fit.

All of our classes are run in a friendly & relaxed atmosphere, to bring people of all ages and levels together, progress together, and have fun together on the road to achieving your goals.
Progressing in your Kung Fu?
Progression is an important aspect of Wing Chun Self Defence programme. Regular grading/examinations are organised for all the different levels. These offer opportunities to all students to progress to the next level/belt.
